Setting Your Holiday Table
When you set your table during the Holiday season, regardless of whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanza, you naturally want to make it as beautiful as possible. One of the ways to do this that creates an instant festive atmosphere, is to use decorative napkin rings. The great thing is they come in so many different styles, from formal to casual, to suit your preference and they aren’t so expensive that you can’t afford them. Holiday napkin rings help to decorate your home and make your dinner or party table colorful. But more than that, they have a practical side, of showing off a place setting for each guest. Napkins play an important role in a dinner party or family gathering, and with holders or rings, napkins are conveniently ready in a moment’s notice. For an instant festive appearance, napkin rings are inexpensive and easily stored away after the holidays are past.
Appropriate For Any Holiday
America is a nation of many traditions, many religions. If you do not celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas in your home, don’t worry. There are still napkin rings created for other gatherings. For instance, the Pumpkin is a universal symbol of the Autumn season, Holly berries have long been a traditional symbol of the winter season. Poinsettias too, brighten the season of the year when our trees and plants have lost their color. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any other winter holiday, there are appropriate designs for your table. Think of snowflakes, music notes, reindeer, modernistic, stylized symbols, which will work very well for your holiday table. Be festive, be innovative, be happy! Click onto any Amazon link on this page and then type in the item you’re looking for and the search engine will take you there. You’re sure to find a great selection. Think About Lasting Quality
If you’re looking for napkin rings you can use year after year, and hand down through the family, the Lenox Company is always there for you. Made from bone china, their napkin rings are durable and may be put away and gladly re-discovered each year. Even if you don’t do a lot of decorating during the holidays, these napkin rings are an instant decoration with their mere presence on the table. They become heirlooms through the generations.
Be Sure To Count Your Guests
There are other styles and other manufacturers to choose from and I’ve picked a variety of styles, colors and materials, from elegant to casual so whatever you choose, bone china, hammered metal, or cloth, you’re sure to be satisfied with the appearance of your table. Important Note: be sure to check the number of napkin rings in a package before you buy. Some come in a package of four, some in six, and some as many as 12. Don’t be embarrassed on the big day, with six napkin rings and eight people at the table! Don’t laugh, it happened to me once!!

You can make your table more festive, even without the flowers, or a centerpiece, which can be very expensive. Napkin rings are not expensive and they add festive color immediately to a holiday table. See several style for various occasions below.

Winter Season Napkin Rings
I love napkin rings! While I don’t use them for table settings anymore, there are other uses… I have used napkin rings as curtain tie-backs, changing them with the seasons.
Ruth, what a clever idea to use them as curtain tiebacks! I would never have thought of that! I don’t use them for my table now, other than at holiday time, when I want to get a little more festive. Thanks my friend, for your comment.
I do love a beautifully set holiday table! These holiday napkin rings are lovely
I’m with you Sylvestermouse, on setting a beautiful holiday table. It’s the time of the year when we do a little more, decorate a little more, go all out with the fancy trimmings. It’s a perfectly acceptable time to go “over the top,” with dressing up our house. When our guests sit down to such a table, they’re automatically in a festive mood. Thanks for your comment.
I like so many of these that it’s so hard to choose. I do love the red berry and grapevine ones.
Oh Susan, I know what you mean. It’s hard to choose there are so many that we like and so many that we could use. I have the ones shown on the red napkin, but I also like so many of the others. Thanks my friend.
When I was little I used to collect napkins. This post of yours brings back those happy and loving memories.
Isn’t it wonderful to have happy, loving memories just by seeing something that was used in your past? It’s funny how much little things can mean so much! Thanks for the visit Lejla, I appreciate it so much!
I love the Lenox bone china napkin ring at the top of the page. Such beautiful red and green colors would look good on any Christmas table!
Yes Susan, they certainly would and for that matter even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, Holly is acceptable on any winter season table. Thanks for the visit and comment! <3 😀
